Which papers should you practise?

OCR Foundation uses Papers 1, 2, 3. Papers 1 and 3 permit a calculator; Paper 2 does not. Confirm your board and tier with your exam centre. Check the official OCR assessment information and follow each practice paper’s cover instructions when timing a session.

Remember OCR Foundation’s different paper order

OCR Foundation’s non-calculator paper is Paper 2. This differs from Edexcel, so check the cover instructions before starting a timed session. On calculator papers, write your method as well as the final number so you can review your reasoning.

Turn solutions into specific revision tasks

Mark the first step that went wrong rather than recording only your score. An arithmetic slip calls for calculation checks; an incorrect method calls for revisiting the relationship behind the question. If you could not start, study the method and try a similar question before returning to the original.

For scale drawings, identify the scale and the units. For probability, check the outcomes match the wording. For statistics, decide whether you need a mean, median or range before calculating.

A manageable practice cycle

  1. Complete a paper or a clearly defined section.
  2. Write three specific corrections after marking.
  3. Practise those methods in a separate session.
  4. Retry without looking at the worked answer.

Keep number, algebra, geometry, probability and statistics in your revision rotation rather than focusing only on familiar questions.

Frequently asked questions

Are these official OCR November 2026 exam papers?

No. These are independent predicted practice resources, not official or leaked exam papers. They do not guarantee the questions or topics that will appear. Use them alongside the full syllabus and official past papers.

Are solutions included?

Yes. Each individual option includes the selected question paper and its worked solutions. The bundle contains all three papers with solutions.

Are the maths downloads free?

No. An individual paper with solutions costs £6; all three cost £12. You can view question previews on the product page before buying.

Which tier should I choose for a resit?

Choose the tier your exam centre has entered you for. Resitting does not automatically determine your tier. Confirm your entry before buying.

Should I revise only the questions in these papers?

No. Use them to practise methods, timing and answer checking, then revise any gaps across the specification. A practice score is not a guaranteed exam grade.
