Edexcel IAL Biology October 2026 predicted papers are available from Tyrion Papers for Units 1–6, with full worked solutions for every selected unit. Choose an individual Biology practice paper, an IAS Units 1–3 bundle, a Units 4–6 bundle or the complete subject set. These digital PDFs provide fresh exam-style practice alongside your specification revision and official past papers.
Preparing for a Biology resit or looking for questions you have not already memorised? This guide explains the available resources, how to select the right unit and how to turn a practice attempt into more focused revision. Our independently created papers are not official Pearson exam papers and cannot guarantee the questions in your live examination.

Board: Pearson Edexcel International AS & A Level. Unit codes: WBI11–WBI16. Format: digital PDFs with worked solutions.
Which Edexcel IAS or IAL Biology unit do you need?
Check the unit code on your exam entry before choosing a resource. International A Level Biology is not the same qualification as UK A Level Biology or International GCSE Biology. Match the board, qualification and unit—not just the word “Biology” on a cover.
| Practice unit | Unit code | Available in |
|---|---|---|
| Unit 1 | WBI11 | Individual, IAS bundle or complete set |
| Unit 2 | WBI12 | Individual, IAS bundle or complete set |
| Unit 3 | WBI13 | Individual, IAS bundle or complete set |
| Unit 4 | WBI14 | Individual, Units 4–6 bundle or complete set |
| Unit 5 | WBI15 | Individual, Units 4–6 bundle or complete set |
| Unit 6 | WBI16 | Individual, Units 4–6 bundle or complete set |
An individual unit is a sensible choice for targeted practice. A bundle gives you additional material when revising multiple units. The complete Units 1–6 option contains the whole Biology practice collection; you do not need every unit if your entry only requires some of them.

How to use Biology practice papers to improve your answers
1. Test understanding before checking solutions
Attempt the questions independently, following the paper’s printed instructions. Keep notes and solutions closed during a diagnostic attempt. Highlight questions you guessed or felt uncertain about, even if you eventually got them right.
2. Make your biological explanations specific
When reviewing a response, identify whether it explains the relevant process and its consequence. A list of familiar terms is not necessarily an explanation. Practise linking cause and effect and answering the exact command word.
3. Use the evidence in the question
For graphs, tables or unfamiliar contexts, use the supplied information. Distinguish what the data shows from a possible explanation. Check whether a comparison needs evidence from both sides, rather than a statement about only one.
4. Review practical reasoning as well as content
Include experimental design, measurements, data presentation and evaluation where relevant to your entered units. Written practice helps rehearse reasoning, but does not replace teacher-supervised practical experience.
5. Retest your weak areas
Record each error as a knowledge gap, application problem, imprecise explanation, misread question or timing issue. Revise the underlying idea, then try another question without help. This makes the next attempt a test of improvement rather than recognition of a solution.
Predicted papers versus official Biology past papers
Official past papers show questions set by the exam board and should be paired with their corresponding official mark schemes. Independent predicted or mock practice papers offer additional unfamiliar questions. Use both, while keeping the current specification and teacher guidance at the centre of your revision.
Do not revise only the topics appearing in a predicted paper. The word “predicted” does not mean advance access to the live paper or permission to skip the rest of your syllabus.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get just an Edexcel IAL Biology Unit 4 practice paper?
Yes. The current collection offers each unit individually with solutions, including Unit 4, as well as bundle options.
Are the Biology predicted papers free?
This IAS/IAL Biology collection is a paid resource. Check the product page for current prices. The site’s separate free IGCSE sample is a different qualification, not a free IAL Biology unit.
Are these official October 2026 exam questions?
No. They are independently created practice questions, not official or leaked exam-board papers. No prediction guarantees what will appear.
Can IAS students use this collection?
Yes. Individual Units 1–3 and the IAS bundle are available. Confirm your own entered units before choosing.
